ARTIST STATEMENT

My assemblages are about the beauty and recognition of forgotten things. By honoring found materials like they were rare gems, and repurposing them into art, I hope the viewer can find an understanding of nostalgia, irony, wonder and surprise.

My photographic eye is attracted to the order and disorder of the innate design of things.Things around us most people never notice.    I see this design in all things  we walk by and ignore or neglect.
